Kejriwal says, if required, he may contest LS polls

New Delhi: After announcing that he would not contest coming Lok Sabha polls, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said he would do so if his party asks him to but he won't be in

Dismissing Congress's prospects in coming elections, he said the next poll will be a battle between BJP and AAP.

He claimed "Delhi (assembly elections outcome) will be repeated at the national level. Congress won some 7-8 seats in Delhi (assembly elections). This will also happen at the national level," he said.

Taking a jibe at BJP, he said "The Aam Aadmi has halted BJP's rath (chariot)," adding his government has done a better job than compared to newly-formed BJP governments in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

He said "if the Narendra Modi promises good governance, Rahul Gandhi promises inclusive one, then we promise Swaraj, government of the people."
