Karunanidhi warms up to Modi, says he is hard working and a good friend too

Chennai: In the run up to the Lok Sabha elections, political equations are changing fast across the country.DMK chief M Karunanidhi seems to be warming up to Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate

Karunanidhi even refused to comment on the likely outcome of the upcoming general elections.

What is interesting is the fact that even AIADMK leader and Tamil nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is also a good friend of Modi although she refused to have any pre-poll pact with BJP led NDA in the state.

When reminded about his comments at Tiruchi conference in which he had said that his party will have no alliance with communal forces,  Karunanidhi shot back at the reporter, “are you making a confessional statement that  it's a communal party?”
