NDA projected to get thumping majority with 289 seats in India TV-CVoter exit polls

New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance led by BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is projected to  get a thumping majority reaching  ten seats short of the 300 mark in the Lok Sabha elections,  according



The ruling United Progressive Alliance is going to bite the dust with the Congress on its own projected to win 78 seats and its allies 29 (RJD 9, NCP 5, DMK 6 and others 9), taking the UPA tally to 107.

Among ‘Others', Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and Jayalalithaa's AIADMK are projected to win 27 seats each, YSR Congress 14, TRS 8, Biju Janata Dal eleven, Samajwadi Party 11, BSP 8,  and Left Front 20.

The exit polls were telecast today from 6:30 pm onwards after the Election Commission deadline for telecasting exit polls ended.
