New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was caught copying a condolence message while writing in the Visitor's Book at Nepal Embassy today. The Gandhi scion today visited the embassy to express solidarity to the people of Nepal who have lost their lives in the massive earthquake.

After meeting the Nepal envoy for India, Rahul Gandhi said that he asked the envoy if the Congress party could help the disaster-torn country.

So far, over 6,204 people have died in the 7.8-magnitude quake that hit the Himalyan national on Saturday. Over 13,932 were also injured in the unfortunate incident. The Nepal government has warned that the death toll could rise to more than 15,000.

Gandhi seems to have already written the message on his smartphone and was seen copying it on the visitor's book. He seems to be unaware of the fact that he was on the camera.

“Over the last week the world has watched in horror as the true scale of the tragedy in Nepal unfolded before us. Some wounds will never heal, but as Nepal faces the hard task of rebuilding each broken life and broken buildings, the people of India stand with you in strength and solidarity. In the years to come, we will see a stronger, more prosperous, even beautiful Nepal whose ingenerable spirit will rise above present despair and inspire the world,” Rahul wrote.
