Nilesh Rane
Nilesh Rane is son of former Maharashtra CM and Congress strongman Narayan Rane. As part of the 15th Lok Sabha, he had served on the Committee on Home Affairs and the Rules Committee.
His name is also in the black money list.
In the 15th Lok Sabha, Nilesh had represented the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency of Maharashtra.
At that, he had owned assets worth Rs 3,05,61,862.
However, the same increased fourfold in 2014. The affidavit which he had filed before the 2014 Lok Sabha election stated that the value of assets which he is having stands at Rs 13,68,11,633.
Nilesh lost his seat in the 16th Lok Sabha to Shiv Sena's candidate Vinayak Raut.
Nilesh's younger brother Nitesh is MLA from the Konkan while his father was defeated by a Shiv Sena candidate in the recently concluded assembly elections in Maharashtra.
