Bhopal/New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad has hit out at Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal's appeal to all Hindus to have at least five children per family to hike up the population

Moradabad: Samajwadi Party minister Azam Khan - "It's really disconcerting to find it's Ashok Singhal who will decide how many kids one should have.  It should be left to the parents to decide who many kids a family should have."
 
Delhi : Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi - "He doesn't want five children for Hindus, he is rather worried about the votes. They have this misimpression that Muslims produce more children and he wants to split the voting between Hindus and Muslims. Today he is talking about five children, I hope in future he does not start talking about four wives."
