Ashok Singhal must not teach us how many kids we should have, says Lalu Prasad, father of 9

Bhopal/New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad has hit out at Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal's appeal to all Hindus to have at least five children per family to hike up the population

"The population of Hindus is declining day by day, and in such a situation, it should be made mandatory for every Hindu to raise five children each", he said.

Singhal praised Narendra Modi's candidature for the post of Prime Minister and said, VHP would support Modi at every step during the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"Under Modi's leadership, Indian government will not come under pressure from any outside country, even the US", Singhal said.

Singhal's remark on five-child for Hindu families has raised the heckles of several political parties.
