What if I direct Police to keep quiet for an hour, HC judge asks Akbaruddin Owaisi

New Delhi, Jan 11: Andhra Pradesh High Court has taken strong exception to the hate speeches made by MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. Justice L Narasimha Reddy, who was hearing Owaisi's plea against multiple cases being filed



Justice Reddy wondered how can a public representative, who has been elected by people cutting across communal lines,  make such an irresponsible speech.
 
“Akbaruddin's statement has hurt feelings of a particular community of this country. And it is equivalent to challenging the country too. This country has made your father and brother Members of Parliament. After being an elected representative, how could you justify your act,” asked Justice Reddy.
