Acknowledge people's grievances, NC will bounce back: Omar

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said he acknowledges people's grievances expressed through a drubbing of National Conference-Congress coalition in the Lok Sabha polls even though his government served the people of the

National Conference and Congress, which contested the Lok Sabha polls together in the state, drew a blank as BJP defeated its rival party candidates at national level in Jammu and Ladakh regions while the regional party was routed by regional arch rival Peoples Democratic Party on the three seats in the Valley.

Quoting from Charles Dickens book ‘A Tale of Two Cities', Omar said “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair...”.
