New Delhi: The main opposition party BJP today said, Aadhaar card issued to citizens by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) does not have Parliament's approval and has been rejected by one of the key committees of the House.
Party vice-president Smriti Irani said: “The Authority of India Bill, 2010, which gives sanction to Aadhar card was rejected by the standing committee on Finance."
