6. Boa Constrictor

 

Boa Constrictor is a large, heavy-bodied snake which is found in North, Central, and South America, as well as some islands in the Caribbean. They are generally a brown, grey or cream base color, patterned with brown or reddish brown "saddles" that become more pronounced towards the tail. While the length of a mature male boa constrictor is between 6–8 feet, the length of a mature female boa constrictor is between 7–10 feet. Females, being the larger sex, more commonly weighs upto  10 to 15 kg.

The average length of king cobra is between 9.8 to 13.1 ft while it weighs around 6 kg. Despite their large sizes, typical king cobras are fast and agile and is capable of killing an elephant. The king cobra is considered to be a dangerous snake and has a fearsome reputation in its range.

Diamond Python are quite variable in colour and pattern, typically being predominantly dark olive to black in colour. The average length of an adult diamond python is usually about 6.6 ft, though they can reach a maximum length of 9.8 ft.They are oviparous snakes, averaging 25 eggs in a clutch and laying up to 54 eggs. The female will defend her eggs by coiling around them and shivering to regulate their temperature. They are found in coastal areas and adjacent ranges of south-eastern Australia.
