8. Giant Brown Snake Giant Brown Snake is considered the world's second most venomous land snake which is found in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. The average length of giant brown snake is between 3.6-5.9ft, where as the maximum recorded for this species has been 7.9ft. They produce venom in huge quantities and may deliver 150 mg in one bite. The female snake produce 8-20 eggs.
7. Bushmaster Bushmaster, also known as Lachesis, is one of the venomous and the longest pitvipers of the world. It is found in forested areas of Central and South America. The length of an adult bushmaster varies from 6.5 to 8.25 ft while it weighs upto 3 to 5kg.The bushmaster's tail ends with a horny spine which it sometimes vibrates when disturbed in a similar manner to rattlesnakes. This led to some calling it 'the mute rattlesnake'.
