Why are people rushing to marry on 11.12.13, does it reflect romance and passion?

New Delhi: June isn't the only month popular for tying the knot this year. December, too, is a busy calendar for couples aspiring to tie the knot. The numerically pleasing date of Dec. 11, 2013 -- 11/12/13 -- is poised to be a banner wedding day. The unique date of 11/12/13 with rare sequential patterns has attracted many couples to tie the knot on this hot date. A David's Bridal survey found that more than 5,000 weddings are set for Wednesday. Planning such a wedding should certainly make it easy to remember your anniversary date. Within the past 15 days, people seem to have suddenly woken up to the unique significance of this last and have queued up for their wedding. All hotels, resorts, marriages grounds available are fully booked and those who came in late are now frantically looking for marriage venues on this date. In Lucknow for the first time people are taking private bungalows on rent for marriage celebrations on 11.12.13. The people are even willing to pay exorbitant amounts for the same. Astrologers, however, claimed that with winter being the perfect season for weddings, over 5,000 couples are likely to tie the knot on any one of the 14 days between November 17 and December 13. No doubt party plots, banquet halls, hotels, in and around the city will be booked those days. Those who are unable to afford spacious bungalows are settling for “road weddings”. In Mumbai, city halls are being booked for the special day. In Dadar, the Suryavanshi Kshatriya Dnyati Samaj hall will host the marriage of Mamta Ibrampurkar with Shreyas Wadkar. Initially their families disliked the idea of going against traditional wisdom but they soon came to common ground. Wedding card printer Joaquim D'souza has his hands full each time there is an interesting numerical sequence. He has created a special 11.12.13 invitation for Canadian resident Darshan Kakkar and his fiancee Sharon Bangera. Numerologist Kanika Khatwani says 11.12.13 reflects "romance and passion". She says 11.12.13 will benefit those whose birthday is on 2, 11, 20 and 29 and whose destiny number (sum of entire birth date) is 2.
