New Delhi/Noida: The schools in national capital have taken a count on the much talked speech of PM Narendra Modi on Teachers' Day.  Most schools in Delhi have made it mandatory for students to stay back in school for 3:00-4:30 p.m. i.e. during the telecast of the speech.

Many school have also planned to take test the next day on Modi's speech on Teachers' Day. Whereas, many have planned to take attendance and fine the students who tend to skip speech telecat at school.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi makes his televised Teachers' Day speech today, hundreds of students will be worrying about how to get back home or listening raptly and taking notes.

Bal Bharati Public School in Noida has asked students to catch Modi's speech at home as they will be tested on it the next day.

However, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) — which provides close to 1,000 buses to 95 schools — has refused to change its schedule to pick up students in the evening. “We will provide buses in the morning but 5pm is peak office hour. The general public will be inconvenienced if we divert buses to schools,” said a DTC spokesperson.

School principals have requested the parents to pick their children from school.

Some schools in NCR have hired the private buses for the children.
