Hyderabad, Sept 15: Anantapur police on Thursday detained a truck driver and cleaner after Rs 4.95 crore in cash was found inside their truck which was coming from Bellary to Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.
The truck (AP 04 9009) was intercepted at Guntakal checkpost, police said.
Police is looking for the owner of the truck and is also trying to check whether the money seized had anything to do with the Reddy brothers presently in custody.
CBI officials have also shown interest in this seizure and are in touch with Anantapur police. A CBI team has left for Guntakal.
