New Delhi: The national capital saw yet another day of some respite from the bitter cold here yesterday, with both maximum and minimum temperatures settling a notch above normal.

Although the city woke up to a foggy morning, it had a clear day with the maximum temperature being recorded at 22.1 degree Celsius, which was slightly higher from yesterday's 21.6 degree Celsius, MeT department said.

The minimum temperature too showed a similar trend with mercury settling at 8.2 degree Celsius, which was more than one degree above the previous day's 7 degree Celsius, it said.

Humidity levels remained between 41 to 100 per cent.  The department has predicted a clear sky tomorrow with the maximum and minimum temperatures remaining at 22 and 8 degree Celsius, respectively.

It has also predicted moderate fog in the morning.

Yesterday also, Delhi basked in bright sunshine throughout the day, giving the residents some respite from the spell of winter.
