Bangalore: Kartik Gowda, the son of Union Railways Minister Sadanand Gowda, today appeared before the Investigating Officer (IO) in the alleged rape and cheating case lodged against him by a kannada actress.
The actress has claimed that she and karthik had got married at Sadanand Gowda's residence in Mangalore in the presence of only Karthik's driver. According to the actress, the marriage took place in 2013. She has lodged a case of rape, cheating and kidnap against Karthik.
The actress made these claims after Karthik Gowda announced his engagement to someone else in August.
Karthik was granted anticipatory bail on the conditionsthat he would have to appear before the police on 15th and 30th of every month and submit Rs 2 lakh personal bond along with 2 locals security.
