He said that France and India can strengthen cooperation in the areas of scientific research, agro and biotechnology, agriculture, urban development and water management.
He said that over the last few years, the companies from France have invested 19 billion dollars in India in several area, including IT, cosmetic, electronics, cement, thermal power.
He said that French companies are collaborating with India on missile projects, helicopter manufacturing, submarines manufacturing and artillery.
“French companies have set up manufacturing and supply chain in defence sector in India,” Richier said.
