New Delhi: A day after low intensity bomb blast struck Bengaluru, the city police has arrested a teenage boy for sending out tweets claiming responsibility for the blast. In a series of tweets, the boy also threatened more bomb blasts in the Silicon Valley of India.

The boy had created a fake account on the microblogging site by the name of Abdul Khan.

One of his tweet reads - ‘I am Abdul the one behind Bangalore blast yesterday. In 2 days 2 more blast. I challenge catch me if you can. Police my foot. ISIS'.

He had also tagged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in a tweet which reads – ‘@BJPRajnathSingh Hey **** .... Dekho 2 din ke baad fir blast karega ...'

The boy is a first year engineering student of a private college located in the outskirts of Bengaluru, police said.

Meanwhile, police said that boy's parents were on their way to the police station with documents claiming that their son was mentally disturbed and on medication.
