Points to remember before and after cyclone
New Delhi: Following is a list of Dos and Don'ts before and after cyclone circulated by National Disaster Management Authority:Dos & Don'ts:Collectors are requested to inform the cyclone warning to all coastal villages through radio
• Stay away from broken electric wires. To save a person struck by an electric wire use materials such as dry stick to push the wire off.
• Be very careful while walking or driving the vehicle. Avoid trees and branches in the way.
• Head for the proper shelter or evacuation point indicated for your area.
• Do not worry about leftover property since human lives and cattle lives are more important.
• At the relief camp follow instructions of person incharge.
• Remain in the relief camp till you are informed that you may leave.
• Remain self possessed in any situation. Maintain patience and courage.
