New Delhi, March 14 : Indian has asked its nationals in Bahrain to keep a low profile during the current political unrest.
Speaking to newspersons here today, E. Ahamed, Minister of State for External Affairs said, India is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Bahrain and he was in constant touch with the Ambassador. "I have asked him to stay closely in touch with the Indian community", he added.
The Indian community, Ahamed said, should follow the advice of our Embassy in Bahrain, which is to keep a low profile, stay indoors and to avoid all non-essential travel within the country.
