Noida: As the Noida Assembly by-poll date inches closer, political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters.

The ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh, which is struggling hard to regain its lost ground after the Lok Sabha polls, crossed the limits by organising a dance programme where girls were brought on the stage to seeks votes for its candidate Kajal Sharma.

Kajal is wife of Guddu Pandit, a two-time sitting MLA from Dibai in Bulandshahr

The girls were wearing skimpy clothes and danced among the crowd by presenting vulgar moves.

Several Cabinet Ministers, including Tourism Minister Om Prakish Singh and party's Noida in-charge and Cabinet-rank Minister Narad Rai, were among other high profile leaders who attended the event.

The function was held at the Community Centre in Chalera village.

This is not the first time that the Samajwadi Party opt for this ‘cheap' stunt to garner support from public.

Polling for 11 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, including Noida, will take place on September 13

The result, which will be announced on September 16, will only tell that such stunts by the Samajwadi Party to attract the crowd at the events will turn into votes or not.
