New Delhi, Feb 24: A 20-year-old student and president of the students' union of a Delhi college died on Thursday evening in East Delhi's Vivek Vihar in mysterious circumstances.
The deceased, identified as Kanika Sharma, was a Ghaziabad resident and a BA final year student at Vivekananda College.
The student felt uneasy after drinking cold drink following which she was rushed to ESI hospital in Jhilmil Colony by the college authorities where she died.
The police have seized the soft drink bottle to examine its contents. A case has been registered at the Vivek Vihar police station and investigations are underway.
