New Delhi: The industries department of Delhi government and DSIIDC are roping in various industrial bodies to help with the removal of debris and discarded material from industrial areas as part of an initiative under the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.

“We will remove debris and waste material lying in public places in various industrial areas under the jurisdiction of DSIIDC,” said Amit Yadav, Commissioner cum CMD of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) Ltd.

The drive will be carried out in DSIIDC industrial zones like DLF Moti Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Naraina Phase I, Naraina Phase II, Mayapuri Ph-I, Mayapuri Ph-II, Patparganj, Jhilmill, Okhla Phase-III, Wazirpur, Lawrance Road, GT Karnal Road, Badli, Udyog Nagar, Rajasthani Udyog Nagar, DSIIDC Nangloi,
Mangolpuri Phase-I and Mangolpuri Phase-II. The schedule for the campaign has been chalked out for covering the various industrial areas, office complexes, liquor shops and other spots, said a Delhi government official.
