    Murdered Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's father on Friday welcomed the news of detention of gangster Goldy Brar, the prime accused in the case, by the US authorities. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann confirmed in Ahmedabad that Brar has been detained by the police in California and that he would "definitely be brought to India".     Tesla delivers electric semis to PepsiCo at Nevada factory

    Tesla delivered its first electric semis to PepsiCo Thursday, more than three years after Elon Musk said his company would start making the trucks. 
    The Austin, Texas, company formally delivered the trucks at a factory near Reno, Nevada. The event was livestreamed on Twitter, which Musk now owns. Musk drove one of three Tesla Semis in front of a crowd inside the factory. One was white, one was painted with a Pepsi logo, and another with Frito-Lay colours.

    Madhya Pradesh govt to form committee for implementation of Uniform Civil Code

    The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh has announced that a committee will be formed for the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a function here on Thursday, where he asked why there were two personal laws in one country, and also alleged that some men marry women from tribal communities with the motive of usurping their land. "Time has come for the implementation of the Common (Uniform) Civil Code in India," Chouhan said.

    Odisha receives 145 investment proposals worth Rs 7.26 lakh crore so far in biz conclave

    The Odisha government said it has so far received 145 investment proposals worth over Rs 7.26 lakh crore in the current edition of the business summit. The Naveen Patnaik government signed 21 MoUs with various companies on the second day of the 'Make In Odisha' Conclave 2022 on Thursday.     Musk's company aims to soon test brain implant in people

    Tech billionaire Elon Musk said his Neuralink company is seeking permission to test its brain implant in people soon. In a “show and tell” presentation livestreamed Wednesday night, Musk said his team is in the process of asking US regulators to allow them to test the device. He said he thinks the company should be able to put the implant in a human brain as part of a clinical trial in about six months, though that timeline is far from certain.
