Modi Sarkar 2.0: First meeting of new cabinet to take place today

PM Modi on Thursday described his new council of ministers as a blend of youthful energy and administrative experience. Soon after President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath to Modi and the council of ministers, the PM Modi in a tweet said the team is a "blend of youthful energy and administrative experience."

The first meeting of the new cabinet will take place on Friday, here in the national capital. As per reports, there is no fixed agenda. The possible date of convening the Parliament session could be decided.

In the coming days, the prime minister would also decide on the various cabinet committees such as Cabinet Committee on Security, Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs and Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs, reported PTI.

“Congratulations to all those who took oath today. This team is a blend of youthful energy and administrative experience. It has people who have excelled as Parliamentarians and those who have had distinguished professional careers. Together, we will work for India’s progress,” tweeted PM Modi.

“A team that is committed to fulfilling aspirations of 130 crore Indians,” PMO India tweeted.
