Los Angeles:  Actor Zach Galifianakis finds it funny when he runs away from his teenage fans and he is not good to them.

He also doesn't understand why fans line up to wait for their favourite stars during red carpet events.

The 44-year-old said he does not regret his actions either.

"Bradley (Cooper) and the guys love it and all have good attitudes - they're professionals. But I'm just tongue-in-cheek. I think it's funny to run from teenagers and not be nice to them," contactmusic.com quoted Galifianakis as saying.

"Even if I'm playing a part, they'll have a good story to tell their friends, 'Zach Galifianakis was an a**hole!'" he added.

"The Hangover" actor also finds red carpet events hilarious because he doesn't understand why fans stand around for so long just to catch a glimpse of him and his co-stars.

"I either giggle my whole way through it because I can't believe how bizarre it is or I just get agitated. It's never like, 'Oh, this is nice!' I find myself laughing so hard and thinking, 'Don't all these people have something better to do?'" Galifianakis said.
