Here's how CBI and CFSL team reconstructed sequence of events at Sushant's Mumbai flat

A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited actor Sushant Singh Rajput's house in suburban Bandra on Saturday to reconstruct the sequence of events before he was found dead on June 14. Sushant's friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani and Cook Neeraj were also present here along with the CBI.Forensic science experts were also part of the CBI team which wanted to reconstruct the sequence of events on June 14.

A dummy body as per Sushant's height and weight was hung from the fan and with the help of Sidharth Pithani. The dummy was taken off the fan with the help of Neeraj and Sidharth as he had written in their statement how they had brought the body down that day.

SIT also took pictures from the terrace of Sushant's flat, trying to understand all the exit and entry points of the flat in order to see if any attempt was possible for anyone to sneak out from Sushant's room.

During the re-construction, the CBI was also called on the spot by the investigating officer and police team of Bandra Police who had reached the spot after receiving the call on 14 June. He was asked what kind of atmosphere was there inside the flat and in Sushant's room when he reached the spot after receiving the call, who was present there, what conditions were there and where was the dead body? Why did the police consider it a suicide at first sight? Answers to this were also recorded by the Mumbai Police team during the on-spot re-construction.

The statements of the society's guards were also recorded.

The forensic team and the SIT of the CBI left the scene after 5 and a half hours of investigation.

The CBI team was investigating whether suicide was possible at the spot. A woman, who said she lived in the building, told reporters that there had been no party at Sushant's residence on June 13, the day before his death, as claimed by a section of media.

Sushant's family friend denies Swamy claim that no photos are available of mortal remains

JP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Saturday tweeted to claim that no photographs are available of the dead body of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput from the crematorium. However, Nilotpal Mrinal, family friend of Sushant, has denied the claim.

"Of course we saw his dead body before performing the last rites, and photographs were also clicked. The photos are with his family," Mrinal told IANS on Saturday.

Mrinal's reaction comes after Swamy's tweet from his verified account on Saturday afternoon, which reads: "Did parent and relatives have anytime a glimpse of their dear SSR's body before cremation? If answer is no then giving false address of crematorium makes sense. No photographs available!!"

Mrinal is a friend of Sushant's cousin, BJP MLA Niraj Kumar Bablu, and he was present at the crematorium for the late actor's last rites in Mumbai. Mrinal shouldered the mortal remains of the late actor while it was being carried from the ambulance towards the crematorium.
