Salman drove down to his sea-facing joint family residence in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra West, a short distance from the scene of the September 28, 2002 accident in which he was found guilty of running over five people, leaving one dead.
His personal security detail managed to keep away some women who surrounded Salman's car and whisked him off to his home where his teary-eyed family members waited.
Sisters Alvira and Arpita did not leave Salman alone for a second; the two arrived home along with their brother. Sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan was waiting to meet him. Brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan were seen greeting the guests.
Salman's bail application will be heard on Friday, May 8 before Justice A.M. Thipsay of the Bombay High Court, on the last day before the court closes for a month-long annual summer vacation.
