MNS Activists Disrupt Bachchan Production Shoot

Mumbai, Apr 27:  Activists of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Tuesday disrupted the shooting of the film "Bbuddha" alleging that foreign artistes were being allowed to work without valid work permits, reports India TV

Mumbai, Apr 27:  Activists of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Tuesday disrupted the shooting of the film "Bbuddha" alleging that foreign artistes were being allowed to work without valid work permits, reports India TV reporter Mrityunjay Singh.
 
The shooting was on at United Mills complex for AB Corp (Amitabh Bachchan's company) film Bbuddha.
 
Activists of MNS Chitrapat Karmachari Sena went to the spot and disrupted the shooting. They alleged that foreign artistes are being allowed to work without valid work permits.
 
An MNS leader said, a complaint was lodged at Shivaji Park police station and police have  seized documents of 17 foreign artistes for verification.
 
The activists alleged that the foreign artistes were whisked away as soon as the protesters arrived at the spot.
 
Deputy Commissioner of Police S V Madhvadkar said, police was taking action on the basis of evidences that have been given. The investigation is on, he added.
 
Amitabh Bachchan was unavailable for comment.
