Jiah Khan laid to rest in Mumbai cemetery, Bollywood actors attend

Mumbai, Jun 5 : Twentyfive-year-old Bollywood actress Jiah Khan was laid to rest at the Santacruz cemetery here this afternoon in the presence of a handful of Bollywood actors. The priest first offered the johar




Earlier, actors Ritesh Deshmukh, Nagma, Anju Mahendru, Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao and Vijay Mallya's son siddharth went to the residence to express their grief.



Late on Tuesday night, Aamir Khan along with his family members visited the residence of Jiah Khan and consoled her mother.

Police yesterday questioned Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi's son, Suraj  in connection  with Jiah's suicide. Suraj reportedly told police that he had a half-an-hour long telephonic conversation with Jiah, minutes before she committed suicide.

The two had been going steady since over an hour, but of late, Suraj had been keeping away from Jiah, who became depressed, sources said.

Bollywood industry has seen the  tragic ends of several actresses and models in the past, like Divya Bharti, Silk Smitha and Nafisa Joseph.
