Late actor-director Guru Dutt's most acknowledged work like ‘Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam', ‘Chaudhvin Ka Chand' and ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool' have been turned into manuscript.
Being an all rounder; an actor, director, producer, the man was known for making 50's & 60's a classic with 'Pyaasa' and many more. Some of his noted works have been penned into books by Dinesh Raheja and Jitendra Kothari.
With great honour noted filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra released a set of three books compiled using some of Guru Dutt's celebrated on-screen work, during an event held in Mumbai yesterday.
Of all those present to mark the event were actor Farhan Akhtar, director Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
All three Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee spoke highly of him in front of all those who deeply understood and praised the veteran's work.
