Mumbai: The Hrithik Roshan-Sussane split is the latest in a series of troubled marriages in Bollywood, which often celebrates the institution of marriage and sells dreams weaved around eternal love and long-lasting romance.Here's a look at some of Bollywood's power couples who started life together on a lovely note but their relationship didn't last that long. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's marriage with actress-wife Kalki Koechlin is in trouble and the couple has announced has already filed for divorce."Me and Kalki are separating. We are taking time off from each other to figure things out. We are not divorcing. We request the media to please respect our privacy and give us our space and not speculate," the couple said in a joint statement in November. But this year, Kalki made it clear in the media that the couple has already filed for divorce. Kalki, an Indian of French descent, and Kashyap, director of films like 'Black Friday', 'Gulal' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur', fell in love while working on 'Dev D' in 2009. The two got married in April 2011. In 2014, Chitrangada Singh was forced to deny that her marriage to golfer Jyoti Randhawa was headed for divorce. Bollywood was also abuzz with rumours about actors Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen-Sharma heading for a divorce. It was reported that Konkona had moved out of Ranvir's house and was staying with her actress-mother Aparna Sen. But the couple, who has a two-year-old son, Harun, never spoke about the matter.Then there are stars like Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who opted for divorce and later married again. Among the older lot in Bollywood, Rajesh Khanna's marriage to Dimple Kapadia in 1973 and their subsequent separation, both made headlines.The 'Bobby' actress was just 16 when she tied the knot with Rajesh, who was then ruling the Hindi film industry, and then quit acting. She returned to silver screen in 1984 after her separation from Khanna. But Dimple was often seen with Khanna and was with the superstar during his last days. Actress Rakhee married film director-lyricist Gulzar. The couple has a daughter, Meghna. When Meghna was one-year- old, her celebrity parents went separate ways and she grew up with her father. Another such couple was Randhir Kapoor, son of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor, and Babita. Reportedly, their contrasting personalities and expectations took a toll on their relationship and they eventually parted ways.Babita walked out with her two daughters Karishma and Kareena. The couple eventually reconciled in 2007.
