New Delhi: The tornado named ‘Bang Bang' is set free at box office and is all here to demolish the previous records. So, will it turn out to be the biggest opener at box office and will the reigning drama Dhoom 3 be brought down?

Well, it's hard to give a final conclusion on that but the opening Hrihik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer has got is at par.

Released in over 4500 screen all over, the movie has got almost 100 % opening, as per news mentioned in a leading daily. A thunderous total of above Rs 30 cr is expected by the end of the day.

Looking at the top three biggest openers of Bollywood Dhoom 3 (Rs 36.22 cr) leads ahead while Chennai Express (Rs 33.12 cr) and Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 32.93 cr) follow the Aamir Khan starrer.

This year's earlier blockbuster Kick starring Salman Khan collected Rs 26.40 cr on Day 1 but was over taken by Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns which made Rs 32.09 cr. The Rohit Shetty's directorial became year's biggest opener so far and the fourth biggest opener of all time.

Being a masala entertainer, Bang Bang with the likes of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif has the possibility to strike gold at box office.

On the other hand, HAIDER which has got both thumps up from critics has managed nearly 25-30% occupancy. Since, the film started its advance booking much later than Bang Bang, such result was expected but advance booking for the evening and night shows could turn into good opening. Also, Haider is a non-commercial entertainer and has a niche audience which couldn't fetch the masses.

Moreover, it has to rely upon positive word of mouth in the extended weekend.
