Actor-turned-director Sohail Khan just can’t stop gushing about Nawazudding Siddiqui. The two has teamed for the first time for upcoming movie ‘Freaky Ali’, and Sohail feels fortunate to have got a chance to work with Nawaz.

In fact, Sohail even mentioned that ‘Freaky Ali’ couldn’t have been possible without the actor.

“It's my good fortune that Nawaz came on board. I can't see this film working without him,” Sohail was quoted saying.

The director also mentioned that Nawaz has now become more of a family to him and the entire Khan-daan.

"It's really very simple in our family. If you love us, we love you back. If you are hostile towards us, then that's what you get from the family," he added.

Talking about ‘Freaky Ali”, Sohail said that he wanted to make a film on the game of golf. "People think it's an elitist game meant for the rich and the privileged. My basic premise for the film was what if someone from the lower strata of the society, in this case an undergarment seller from small town, gets thrown into the vast elitist green acres of golf?

"What if this simpleton doesn't know of the existence of the expert golfer within him? That's how this film started."

‘Freaky Ali’, also featuring Arbaaz Khan, Amy Jackson and Jas Arora, is scheduled to release on September 09.
