Superstar Shah Rukh Khan released the trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Raees’ yesterday a little after noon. And the trailer has managed to break the Internet getting over 11 million views in less than 24 hours.

The 2 minutes 46 seconds trailer was also one of the top trends on micro blogging website Twitter the entire day on Wednesday. The statistics on YouTube and Twitter point that SRK has hit the ball out of the boundary with this trailer.

Almost everyone who watched the trailer was of the opinion that waiting for the movie is extremely difficult now. The clip hinted that the movie will be high on Bollywood masala having elements of romance, action, and thriller and memorable dialogues in abundance.

Fans of the 51-year old superstar were awed by the clip and couldn’t stop praising it on Twitter. Check out few tweets of them:

Like the fans, celebrities of tinsel vile too were bowled over by the video. Likes of Karan Johar and Shabana Azmi tweeted compliments for it.

Set in 1960’s Gujarat, ‘Raees’ is the story of a bootlegger Raees Alam who locks horns with ACP Patel (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). The trailer featured dialogues which have the very potential of becoming blockbuster ones. It also showed the chemistry between actress Mahira Khan and SRK and hinted that the former might impress with her performance.

Slated for a release on 25th January, ‘Raees’ will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ at the box office. While the SRK starrer will release from morning shows itself there is still uncertainty if ‘Kaabil’ will hit screens from 6 PM as decided as or earlier than that.
