New Delhi: All cine buffs know the brotherly bond which actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor share. They stand true to the phrase, ‘brothers from another mother’. To all those who are fans of this bromance, here is a good news. Reports have it that the two will be soon seen in a web series by Y-films, a wing of the Yash Raj banner.

Reportedly, the series is a romantic-action-drama which will be helmed by Ashish Patil, a debutant.

Now this news is great on many levels. Firstly, because Ranveer and Arjun connect with the youth amazingly, something which will work in the favour of the series. Secondly, their bond was not exploited much in the film ‘Gunday’ and this series might just do that. Given the history of Y-films’ web series, they challenge the notion of the society in a brilliant way, and having Arjun and Ranveer on board will make the series amazing.

A source close to the production house told a leading daily,

“Ashish has also written the series, a romantic-action-drama that will attempt to showcase the bromance between Ranveer and Arjun apart from some slick action sequences. It will also feature a hot B-Town actress.”

Speaking about the idea which goes behind the series of Y-films, the source added,

“Last year, Y Films came out with two web series — Man’s World and Bang Bajaa Baraat. This year, it launched the raunchy web series Ladies Room. The target audience of the web series is the youth and who better than Ranveer and Arjun, who are hot favourites, at the moment? Many filmmakers have been dying to cast the duo, but finding the right script has been an issue.”

Ashish, the man himself did not deny these rumours. When asked he replied rather diplomatically,

“No comments. Stay tuned to Y-films.”

Well, we are sure if this happens the ‘Babas’ will make us smile again.
