After a fierce competition for a couple of weeks between the amazing dancing stars across India, 14-year-old Tanay Malhara danced his way to victory on Star Plus’ ‘Dance+ Season 2’.

Tanay is over the moon with his triumph and has credited his success to dance guru Dharmesh Yelandr. Malhara stated that it was Dharmesh who has been a constant support and motivator to him.

The dancing star, who hails from Maharashtra, feels that the victory feeling is yet to sink in. However, he has thanked everyone who supported him.

Tanay also shared the best moment of his triumph, saying “The shining moment was when they all said, ‘Being a 14-year old boy, you deserve to be the next dance icon of the nation'”.

Tanay, who had beaten Wild Rippers crew, Piyush Bhagat and Sushant Khatri, has also won Rs 25 lakh along with a car, post grabbing the trophy at the dance show.

He was presented the trophy by judge Remo D’Souza and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was there to promote his upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

Along with RK, the grand finale of ‘Dance+ Season 2’ also had another special guest – Rio Olympic bronze medal winner Sakshi Malik.

In fact, Sakshi and Ranbir were also spotted shaking a leg at the grand finale.

 

Remo said Malhara's win will "inspire the nation that age and size don't matter if you are just born to dance and have sheer will to continue that
