Baahubali 2 gets defeated by Games of Thrones, here’s how

While people are busy comparing Baahubali 2 with Aamir Khan’s Dangal, the popular TV series Game of Thrones has beaten the film.

The SS Rajamouli’s epic creation Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has been breaking several records and winning hearts. And, while people are busy comparing Baahubali 2 with Aamir Khan’s Dangal, a popular TV series has beaten the film. 

The trailer of Game of Thrones season 7 has reportedly garnered 61 million views in 24 hours. On the other hand, the Prabhas starrer trailer got 50 million views in the said time. The Baahubali 2 trailer not only beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees but also set an entirely new record. Sadly, the film faced defeat from the very popular Game of Thrones.\

The new trailer of GOT sets up a dire time for Cersei and Jamie, surrounded on all sides by enemies old and new Daenerys’ invasion, and Jon Snow’s rise to leading the North against oncoming deadly threat of the White Walkers.

The 1-minute 49-seconds long trailer opens with Queen Cersi counting her enemies: "Enemies to the East, enemies to the West, enemies to the South, enemies to the North", all the while, standing on a giant map of the Seven Kingdoms, aka Westeros.The makers took to their official Game of Thrones Twitter account and shared the much-awaited trailer.

Notably, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion coming close to Game in this race says a lot. The film helmed by SS Rajamouli had created quite the expectation and it lived up to it. The Prabhas- Anushka Shetty film has become the highest grosser of Indian cinema and has made India proud across the world.

Baahubali 2 is the second part of the Baahubali series. The first part was also appreciated by the audience. Along with Prabhas, Baahubali 2 also features Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
