Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has worked with ace director Shoojit Sircar in a number of feature and ad films, is all praise for the filmmaker’s creativity. Big B last featured in Shoojit Sircar’s Pink and before that he won accolades for his performance in Piku, which also starred Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. The two dynamites of talent have reunited for a new ad campaign, which will have Amitabh Bachchan playing a critic in a nine-series ad film. The campaign goes by the name #HarSceneKaMazaaLo.
"It was quite an experience to enact so many famous movie characters with the Bengali twang. I am glad to see that everything fell into place so beautifully. It is always a pleasure to work with Shoojit Sircar, his creative instincts are phenomenal," the veteran actor said in a statement.
The ethos of the campaign lies in how binge watchers firmly believe that they are critics in their own way. Amitabh is seen demonstrating the same by critiquing stars of the movies that he is enjoying.
On the work front, Shoojit Sircar is garnering praise for his stellar work in Varun Dhawan’s October. The film managed to get rave reviews from the critics across the country. It is also touted as Dhawan’s best performance on screen so far. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor’s film 102 Not Out has hit the screens this Friday. It was welcomed with mixed reviews from critics, however the stalwarts’ performance is being hailed by every cinema buff.
