Gujarat polls: BJP will score a handsome victory, says Lal Krishna Advani

BJP patriarch Lal Krishna Advani today said that the saffron party will score a handsome victory in the Assembly elections.

The former deputy prime minister said this while talking to India TV after casting his vote at Jamalpur Khadia booth in Shahpura of Ahmedabad.

The voting is underway in 93 Assembly constituencies spread over 14 districts of the state. Around 27% voting has been recorded till 12pm today. 

More than two crore voters of Gujarat will decide the fate of 851 candidates in second phase of Assembly elections today.

68 per cent voting was recorded during first phase of Assembly elections held across 93 constituencies on December 9.

The counting of votes for 182-member Assembly will take place on December 18.
