RPF sub-inspector exam postponed, Railways to announce new date soon

The exam was to be conducted in three sessions at eight centres in Prayagraj and six in Kanpur.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has postponed the third phase of recruitment examination, which was to be conducted for the post of sub-inspector on January 9, 2019. The RPF released a notification regarding the same on the official website. The candidates will be shortly informed of the new dates through SMS and the website.

The RPF had released admit cards on December 30, 2018.

The exam was to be conducted in three sessions at eight centres in Prayagraj and six in Kanpur. 

The exam is being conducted across the country to fill more than 9,000 posts of ASI lying vacant at all the zonal offices.

The third phase of computer-based examination for the North-Central Railways, the Northern Railways, the Eastern Railways and the Western Railways was to be conducted between Jan 9-13.

The exams which which were to be held between Jan 10-13 would go according to the schedule, said a staement by Railways.

According to a railway official, the examination scheduled for Jan 9 could be conducted on Jan 16.
