All incidents in your life are destined to happen at a particular time. A 84-years-old Canandian woman Mary Grams experienced the same when she found her lost diamond ring on a carrot of her farm after 13 long years. Mary was proudly wearing her engagement ring since 1951, a year before she tied the knot but unfortunately lost it while pulling out weeds from her garden in Alberta. She then rigorously hunted for it high and low but all went in vain. It was her daughter-in-law Colleen Daley who found the ring on carrot after she pulled it from the ground to prepare supper. It is surprising to see how the carrot has moulded itself according to the ring and grew through it.

Her husband immediately recognised that the ring belongs to her mother. In 2004, when it was lost, Mary informed this only to her son. She concealed it from her husband as he would be dismayed by knowing that Mary lost the ring because of her carelessness. Instead she brought a replacement ring and kept wearing all these years.

Mary lost her husband five years ago, just a month before their 60th wedding anniversary. She is eagerly looking forward to wear the ring as it still fits her. She wishes to have told her husband about it, who she said was a funny man. Instead of being angry at her, he would have found the whole situation amusing. Now, she will be more caeeful, said Mary while talking to BBC. "If I am going outside or anything I am going to put it in a safe space. That is what I should have done," she said.
