New Delhi, May 8: Xolo is all set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. The handset is believed to be one of the most affordable handset available in the market with a price tag of Rs 9999. The handset is already available at online shopping websites such as Flipkart, but there is no mention of a price or a launch date.
The Xolo Q700 would be next phone in the Q-Core series. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology that would reduce the phone's thickness.
The processing juice is provided by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589W-M processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording facility and a 0.3 (MP) VGA front-facing camera. It is a dual-SIM support with dual standby similar to other Xolo smartphones. . It comes with 2400 mAh battery, which as per company claims gives 17 hours of talk time and 380 hours of standby time on 2G and 16 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time on 3G.
The smartphone will not come in traditional colours such as Black, White or Silver but will be available only in Brown and Blue colour.
Xolo's another model, the Q800, is priced at Rs 12,499. The Q800 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU.
