New Delhi: Twitter on Sunday experienced a partial outage and is now back for most users on Desktop and mobile as well.
Users reported a sign-in problem that's (mostly on Android) prevented them from logging back in. Moreover, TweetDeck on the desktop listed every new tweet as a year old. Reportedly, Tweetdeck is also back in order.
After several hours worth of complaints, the Twitter status blog reported that there was a “login issue” and that engineers were working on it.
Reports suggest that the authentication problem appeared to be caused by a date error on Twitter's servers, which showed the current date as being December 28, 2015.
