New Delhi, April 24: As expected, tech giant Nokia has unveiled its budget Asha 210 handset, complete with full Qwerty keyboard and dedicated WhatsApp button sat on the front. The Finnish company has priced Asha 210 for $72 (Rs 3,800 approximately).



The company has termed 210 as "the most social Asha yet," placing its social networking features, including Facebook and Twitter, at the heart of the handset.

The Asha 210 measures 4.39-inches tall, 2.36 inches wide, and 0.46-inches thick. At 3.43 ounces, it's lightweight and fits well in the hand. The colour options offered are: yellow, white, cyan, magenta, and black.

The front includes a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, with a 320x240-pixel resolution. The four-row QWERTY keyboard lights up when in use and is textured for easy typing. Users can activate the Wi-Fi by pressing space bar long enough. The phone also supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

The phone comes with a 2-megapixel camera and offers some editing options, including a 4X digital zoom. The device is powered by a 1,110mAh battery, which has a reported talk-time of 12 hours and a standby-time of 24 days. It has a RAM of 32 MB and supports MicroSD expandable memory card of up to 32 GB. The phone will come in both single-SIM and dual-SIM options.

The company expects to start shipping the phone in the second quarter of 2013.
