Unlike a normal app pose position in which a user have to push for a button on their phone to take the picture, they now have to make a simple gesture with thier own hand, which triggers a countdown.
Then in just a few moment the selfie-taker goes to strike a pose before the shot is taken.
Photos can be triggered from a distance of up to 3m, it says.
The company, based in the southern Swedish city of Malmo, says the free GoCam app will be initially available in Sweden and Australia.
