New Delhi: Mercedes-Benz has launched the performance version of its GL-Class SUV, the GL63 AMG in India, at Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai ). Unlike the regular GL Class which is locally assembled at Mercedes' Chakan facility, the GL63 AMG is brought into the country via the CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) route.
Based on the new GL Class, the GL63 AMG is a powerful beast on wheels that comes with a 5.5-litre, twin-turbo, V8 AMG engine with 565PS and a whopping 760Nm of torque.
