HARARE, Zimbabwe:  Zimbabwe won the toss and put South Africa in to bat in the last round-robin match of the triangular one-day series on Thursday as both chase a place in the final against Australia.

Host Zimbabwe needs to win by a big margin at Harare Sports Club to have a chance of overhauling South Africa on run rate and qualifying for Saturday's decider.

Zimbabwe made two changes after beating Australia for the first time in 31 years in its previous outing. Opening batsman Vusi Sibanda is recalled for his first appearance in the triangular series and seamer Neville Madziva also comes in to the lineup. They replace Tino Mawoyo and Donald Tiripano.

The Proteas opted for an extra batsman in Rilee Rossouw to replace legspinner Imran Tahir, while Wayne Parnell is a like-for-like replacement for fellow allrounder Ryan McLaren. McLaren was ruled out of the series with a hairline fracture in his right forearm after being hit while batting in Tuesday's loss to Australia.

Teams:

Zimbabwe: Elton Chigumbura (captain), Vusi Sibanda, Sikandar Raza, Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor, Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams, Prosper Utseya, Neville Madziva, John Nyumbu, Tendai Chatara.

South Africa: A.B. de Villiers (captain), Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Rilee Rossouw, David Miller, J.P. Duminy, Dale Steyn, Wayne Parnell, Aaron Phangiso, Morne Morkel.
