New Delhi, May 6: Milchaar beat Saffron by 7-wickets to take the inaugural Kashmir Premier League T20 title at the Yamuna Sports Complex here on Sunday.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Saffron's Captain Rohit elected to bat. Milchaar set a unique record of losing the fifth toss at a stretch.
Saffron started their innings with two in-form batsmen Vicky and Amit Parmioo. They got to a good start by making 30 runs in the first 4 overs but the fate of match changed with the introduction of Santosh Bhatt who cleaned the top order by picking 4 wickets in three over.
None of the other batsmen tried to occupy the crease and lost wickets at regular interval.
Milchaar started the reply with Semifinal heroes Rakesh Mattoo and Puran Raina who gave the team a very good start.
Milchaar reached the winning score with 7 wickets in hand and some 4 overs remaining.
Santosh was adjudged the Man of the Match for a brilliant all round performance.
